Terms & Conditions for Customers

Last updated: 2 October 2026

These Terms & Conditions (the "Terms") apply when you use the ZedGet customer app or website (together, the "Platform") to plan an event, ask for quotations, and book and pay service partners. Please read them carefully. By creating an account or using the Platform you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. Who we are

The Platform is operated by DRAFT - ZedGet's registered business name and address ("ZedGet", "we", "us"). ZedGet is an online marketplace that connects customers with independent service partners such as caterers, decorators, photographers, pandits, DJs, makeup artists, anchors and venues ("Partners").

ZedGet does not itself provide event services. Each service you book is provided by the Partner you choose, under an agreement between you and that Partner.

2. Your account

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract under Indian law to create an account.

Give us accurate details (name, mobile number, email address) and keep them up to date. You are responsible for everything done through your account, so keep your password and one-time passwords (OTPs) private and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.

One person may hold only one customer account. You may not create an account for someone else without their permission.

3. Events, requests and quotations

You can add an event and request the services you need. Partners may respond with quotations. A quotation is an offer from the Partner, not from ZedGet. Read it carefully, including what is and is not included, before you accept it.

When you accept a quotation, a booking is made between you and that Partner at the quoted price. ZedGet records the booking but is not a party to it.

Prices, menus, packages, photos and other details shown by Partners are provided by the Partners. We try to keep the Platform accurate but cannot guarantee that every Partner listing is complete or correct.

4. Payments and invoices

You pay the Partner the amount of the accepted quotation. You can pay online through the Platform or, where offered, in cash directly to the Partner.

Online payments are processed by our payment partner Razorpay. ZedGet does not see or store your full card or bank details. Your bank or payment app may charge its own fees.

A cash payment is recorded as paid when the Partner confirms they received it. ZedGet never holds cash payments and cannot refund them.

Once a booking is paid, the Platform issues an invoice for it. Any applicable taxes are shown on the quotation or invoice. The Partner is responsible for the tax on the services they provide.

5. Cancellations and refunds

You can cancel an event in the app. Requests that have not yet been booked are cancelled with it.

If you need to cancel or change a confirmed booking, contact the Partner as early as possible. The Partner's own cancellation terms, as stated in their quotation, apply.

If a Partner does not provide a service you paid for online through the Platform, or there is a genuine dispute about it, contact us. We will look into it and, where we decide a refund is due, refund the online payment to the original payment method. Refunds normally reach you within DRAFT - number working days after we approve them, depending on your bank.

DRAFT - add any platform-wide cancellation or refund rules you want to apply (for example, time limits before the event date).

6. Reviews

You can review a Partner after a completed booking. Reviews must be honest, based on your own experience, and must not be abusive, defamatory, obscene, discriminatory or misleading, or include anyone's personal details.

We may remove reviews that break these rules. By posting a review you allow ZedGet to display it on the Platform.

7. Food donation

If you choose to donate surplus food after your event, we try to match it with verified NGOs and shelters nearby. You confirm that the food you offer is fit to eat and has been stored and handled safely.

Pickup depends on an NGO accepting the donation and is not guaranteed. Once food is handed over, the receiving organisation is responsible for it.

8. Acceptable use

When using the Platform you agree not to:

We may suspend or close your account if you break these Terms, or if we reasonably believe your use puts other users, Partners or ZedGet at risk.

9. Partners are independent

Partners are independent businesses, not ZedGet employees or agents. The Partner is responsible for the quality, safety, legality and delivery of their services, including food safety and any licences or permits they need.

We take reasonable steps to keep the Platform trustworthy, but we do not guarantee the work of any Partner. If you have a problem with a Partner, please tell us so we can help where we can.

10. Your data

We use your personal information to run the Platform: to create your account, share the details of your requests with Partners so they can quote, process payments, send you notifications, and keep the Platform safe. We handle it in line with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Our Privacy Policy (www.zedgetapp.com/privacy) explains in detail what we collect, how we use and share it, and your rights.

11. Our liability

The Platform is provided "as is". We work to keep it available and secure, but cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the extent the law allows, ZedGet is not liable for the acts or omissions of Partners, or for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to a booking is limited to the amount you paid through the Platform for that booking. Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded by law.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. For significant changes we will let you know in the app. If you keep using the Platform after the change, you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any complaint. If it cannot be resolved, the courts of DRAFT - city, state have jurisdiction, without affecting your rights to approach a consumer commission.

14. Contact and grievances

For questions, complaints or grievances about the Platform, write to our Grievance Officer: DRAFT - name, email address and phone number. We will acknowledge your complaint within 48 hours and aim to resolve it within one month.
